How Much Does an SMM Panel Cost in 2026?

What it really costs to start and run an SMM panel in 2026: scripts vs hosted panels, monthly fees, provider balance, payment fees and a realistic first-month budget.

"How much does an SMM panel cost?" has two answers: what it costs to get the panel, and what it costs to run it every month. This guide covers both, with realistic numbers, so you can plan your budget before you start.

The three ways to get an SMM panel

1. A self-hosted SMM panel script

You buy a script (or download one) and install it on your own server.

  • Script: usually a one-time payment, often between $50 and $300 on script marketplaces. Free and "nulled" scripts exist, but they carry serious risks.
  • Server: a VPS for your panel, typically $10 to $40 a month, more as you grow.
  • Protection, SSL and backups: DDoS protection is essential for SMM panels, and backups protect your customers' balances.
  • Your time or a developer's: installing, fixing errors, keeping up with provider and payment changes, and patching security holes.

The script itself is cheap. Running it is where the cost (and the risk) is. We go deeper in SMM panel script vs a ready-made panel.

2. A ready-made (hosted) SMM panel

A platform runs the panel for you, on your domain and brand. You pay a monthly fee that includes hosting, security, backups and updates.

Most platforms price by how many orders your panel receives each month. For example, Eva Panel's plans start at $20 a month for up to 1,000 orders and grow with your volume (around $75 a month up to 50,000 orders, $100 up to 100,000). Other well-known platforms charge about twice that for the same order volume at the time of writing: see our Perfect Panel comparison.

There is no revenue share: your profit stays yours.

3. A child panel

Some panels let customers rent a child panel: a ready-made panel that can only buy from its parent panel. It is cheap (often around $25 a month) and simple, but you are tied to one provider and its prices. It suits small resellers testing the market; a full panel suits anyone who wants to grow.

Costs most beginners forget

Whatever you choose, budget for:

  • Provider balance. You pay providers in advance, so you need working capital on their balance before customers order. Starting with $30 to $100 per provider is common.
  • Payment fees. Gateways charge a fee per payment, usually a few percent. You can pass a fee on to customers per method.
  • A domain: about $10 to $15 a year for a .com.
  • Marketing: promoted posts in Telegram groups, sponsored videos, or giveaways for your first customers.
  • Refunds and refills: some orders end partial or need refilling. Choose services with refill guarantees and price them with a margin that covers it.

A realistic first-month budget

Item Self-hosted script Ready-made panel (Eva Panel)
Software $50 to $300 one-time $20 a month (first plan)
Server and protection $15 to $50 Included
Domain $10 to $15 $10 to $15
Provider balance $50 to $200 $50 to $200
Setup and fixes Your time or a developer Included
Total to start about $125 to $565 about $80 to $235

The biggest number in both columns is your provider balance, which is not really a cost: it becomes your customers' orders, plus your margin.

How quickly can a panel pay for itself?

Margins of 30% to 100% are common. If customers spend $500 in your first month at a 40% margin, you keep about $200 before payment fees and marketing. On a hosted plan, that covers the monthly fee many times over; the real question is how fast you can win customers, not whether the software pays off.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest way to start an SMM panel?

A child panel is the cheapest way to try, and a hosted panel on a starter plan is the cheapest way to run a real business. Free scripts look cheapest, but often cost the most once something goes wrong.

Is there a monthly fee for SMM panel scripts?

The script itself is usually a one-time payment, but the server, protection and maintenance are monthly costs.

Do hosted SMM panels take a share of revenue?

Some platforms do. Eva Panel never does: you pay by order volume, and your revenue and profit are yours.
