The SMM Panel API Explained (with Examples)

How the standard SMM panel API works: the services, add, status, balance, refill and cancel actions, with example requests and answers for resellers and developers.

Almost every SMM panel and provider speaks the same API. It is how panels buy from providers, how resellers order from panels, and how bots and scripts place orders automatically. If you run a panel or resell services, understanding it saves you a lot of time.

How the SMM API works

The standard SMM API is simple:

  • There is one address (for example https://yourpanel.com/api/v2).
  • Every request is a POST with your API key and an action.
  • The answer is JSON.

Your API key is in your account settings on the panel. Treat it like a password: anyone who has it can place orders with your balance.

The actions

services: the list of services

Request: key, action=services

The answer lists every service you can order, with its ID, name, category, rate (price per 1,000), minimum and maximum quantity, and whether it supports refill and cancel.

[{"service": 1, "name": "Instagram Followers", "type": "Default", "category": "Instagram",
  "rate": "1.20", "min": "100", "max": "100000", "refill": true, "cancel": true}]

add: place an order

Request: key, action=add, service, link, quantity

Some service types take other fields, such as comments (one per line) for custom comments, or runs and interval for drip-feed.

{"order": 23501}

status: follow an order

Request: key, action=status, order (or orders with up to 100 IDs, comma separated)

{"charge": "1.20", "start_count": "3572", "status": "In progress", "remains": "157", "currency": "USD"}

Statuses are usually Pending, In progress, Processing, Completed, Partial and Canceled. Remains is how much is still to be delivered; a Partial order is refunded for its remains.

balance: your balance

Request: key, action=balance

{"balance": "100.84", "currency": "USD"}

refill and cancel

  • action=refill with an order asks for a refill on a service with a refill guarantee, and action=refill_status follows it.
  • action=cancel with orders asks to cancel orders on services that allow it.

Code libraries (PHP, Python, Node.js)

You don't have to write the requests by hand. Our free, open-source clients for the standard SMM API cover every action above, with no extra packages to install:

  • PHP (8.1+): services(), order(), status(), multiStatus(), balance(), refill(), refillStatus(), cancel()
  • Python (3.8+): the same actions, standard library only
  • Node.js (18+): the same actions, with TypeScript types
$api = new SmmApi('https://yourpanel.com/api/v2', getenv('SMM_API_KEY'));
$order = $api->order(['service' => 1, 'link' => 'https://instagram.com/p/xyz', 'quantity' => 1000]);

They keep your key out of logs and refuse to send it over plain http://. Get them on GitHub: evapanel/smm-api-clients (MIT licence).

Who uses the API

  • Panel owners: your panel uses it to buy from providers. On a platform like Eva Panel this happens automatically: you add a provider's API address and key, and the panel imports services and follows orders for you.
  • Resellers: they connect their own panel to yours and resell your services. A fast, standard API makes your panel a good provider for other panels.
  • Developers: they connect bots (for example Telegram bots) and scripts that place orders automatically.

Tips for panel owners

  • Keep your API standard. Resellers expect the usual actions and answers; anything unusual makes integration harder.
  • Offer refill and cancel through the API on services that support them, so resellers can automate support too.
  • Watch your provider's API. Slow answers or errors mean late orders for your customers. Eva Panel checks statuses on a schedule that suits each provider, and logs every answer on the order for troubleshooting.
  • Never share admin access to give someone API access. The customer API key is all a reseller needs.

The admin API

Besides the customer API, some platforms offer an admin API to automate the panel itself: orders, payments, customers, tickets, refills and cancels. Eva Panel's admin API uses formats SMM panel tools already understand, with keys limited to the actions you choose.
