What Is Drip-Feed on an SMM Panel? How It Works
Drip-feed explained: how SMM panels split an order into smaller runs delivered over time, why customers use it, and how runs, intervals and refunds work.
Drip-feed is an ordering option on SMM panels that splits one order into several smaller deliveries spread over time. Instead of 5,000 likes arriving at once, a customer can get 500 likes every hour for ten hours.
It is one of the most requested features by customers who care about growth looking natural, and a good reason for them to choose your panel over another.
How drip-feed works
When a customer places a drip-feed order, they choose three things:
- Quantity per run: how much is delivered each time (for example 500).
- Runs: how many times it repeats (for example 10).
- Interval: how long to wait between runs, in minutes (for example 60).
The total is quantity × runs, so 500 × 10 = 5,000, delivered over about ten hours.
Why customers use drip-feed
- Natural-looking growth. A post that gains likes steadily looks more organic than one that jumps by thousands in a minute.
- Lower risk of drops. Sudden spikes are more likely to be noticed and removed by the social network.
- Planned campaigns. Views or likes can keep arriving during a launch, a live event or a whole day.
How a panel runs drip-feed
There are two ways a panel can offer drip-feed:
- Through the provider. Some providers accept drip-feed orders themselves. The panel passes the runs and interval on, and depends on the provider doing it right.
- In the panel itself. The panel holds the drip-feed and places one normal order for every run, at the right time. This works with any provider, and each run can be followed separately.
Eva Panel uses the second way:
- The customer pays for every run upfront, so the panel never needs to charge again mid-campaign.
- The first run is placed straight away, then one more after each interval.
- Every run is an ordinary order, with its own status, start count and remains.
- If the drip-feed is cancelled, no more runs are placed and the runs not yet placed are refunded to the customer's balance.
- If a run cannot be placed (the service was disabled or its limits changed), the drip-feed stops and the remaining runs are refunded automatically.
Customers see their drip-feeds on their own page, sorted into active, completed and cancelled, with the progress of each.
Setting up drip-feed as a panel owner
- Turn on drip-feed for the services where it makes sense: likes, views and followers are the usual ones.
- Make sure the service's minimum quantity works per run: if a service starts at 100, a run of 50 will fail.
- Explain it in the service description, for example "Supports drip-feed: choose quantity per run, runs and interval".
Frequently asked questions
Does drip-feed cost more?
No. The customer pays the normal price for the total quantity, just delivered in parts.
Can a customer stop a drip-feed?
Yes. Stopping it refunds the runs that were not placed yet.
Does drip-feed work with every service?
Only with services where it is switched on, and only when each run meets the service's minimum quantity.
